“As a kid, I was known to abandon a project when I lost my inspiration. My mom would always encourage me to finish what I started. It could be incredibly difficult to apply Mom’s advice, but over time, I saw her point. Sometimes I would be surprised with the end result. Other times, I still wanted to throw it in the garbage can. But my goal has always been to relish and celebrate the successes I have at the moment. Whether it’s landing a part in a student film or having a good day in acting class, I never discredit anything. As an artist, the more that you do to diversify and challenge yourself, the more you grow.”
